Pat Buchanan asked on---Hardball on 2/22/2010--Why do we have to pay for the defense of Japan, South Korea etc.?. Why can't they defend themselves--Well, guess what? I agree with him. I have been saying that for so long that I am now loosing my voice.
Mr. President, get with it. The moneys saved will more than pay for Health Care, and a lot of social programs now under funded.
You have to wean these Countries of their dependency on the good old US of A. WE, can no longer carry the World on our shoulders. This is the 21st century, the Colonial era is over--we don't use slide rule anymore, we use computers and calculators--GET IT?

• Our budget deficit is now 25 Billion and growing.
• Our First Responders are getting Pink Slips.
* And, Neighborhood businesses—are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Money, Power and Fame do not equal Common sense, Vision and Leadership.
Now it’s 2010, and not much has changed—
My plans for Californian remain the same today as they were in 2006. I WILL: -----
• Generate a robust economy; Create Jobs
• Implement Education, Environmental and health care reforms
• Secure our Borders and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
• Streamline State Government and State regulations.
* Reduce State employee’s work days to a 4-day work week. Thus, reduce our dependence on Foreign Oil.

Time is running out for the Democrats
Mr President, I have supported you and will continue to support you--I have said in my blog " You will go down in history as the greatest President ever live--I still believe that.
But a word of caution--the Democratic party is not united--they should borrow a page from the Republican party.
If the Democrats continue their present behavior, they will be kicked out in 2010 and you will be a one term President--how sad would that be. Democrats have to unit if they are to survive in 2010 and 2012.
For years I wonder why the Democratic party is so scrambled,undisciplined. Enough said, you get the message--I hope the Democats in CONGRESS COULD SEE THIS MESSAGE. They had a filibuster proof majority and they did nothing but scrabble and fight among them self--result health care fell flat on its face--now the have the majority--51 votes and still they did nothing. The Republicans are the party of NO and the Democrats is the party of DO NOTHING. You have to whip them into shape or become a one term President--you have time , but time is running out--good luck.
